Both versions of the Altor 4560 (with or without a mixing hopper) can accommodate the loading platform. The platform is equipped with a dual electric control 9. 575 litre mixing hopper The 575 l mixing hopper is incorporated perfectly into the front of the machine. The hopper is loaded effortlessly and safely 10. thanks to its extra-low profile and two loading doors (right and left). Minerals and concentrates are mixed in the hopper by means of an agitator consisting of a double reverse-pitch coil. The ingredients are premixed prior to injection 11. The auger, activated by operation of the feed rotor, injects the concentrates at the bottom of the turbine for a perfect blend with coarse fodder (in 3/4 of a turn). This chute is the solution to straw blowing in buildings with no separate exit or with difficult access. The swivel chute is mounted on a turntable for 300° rotation 13. The machine operator can blow straw up to a distance of 13 m simply using the fingertip controls in the cab. The standard right-hand-side chute can be switched to a swivel chute by means of a hydraulically-driven flap, again from the tractor cab.
