GF Gyrotedders Two and four rotor models KUHN Gyrotedders Meeting the needs of tomorrow’s farmer today. KUHN, the world leader in rotary tedders, continues to provide farmers with Gyrotedders that speed drying and productivity while reducing losses in the field. KUHN Gyrotedders: · Preserve the nutritional value of hay with gentle tedding – higher quality hay that ultimately increases profits.
· Expand productivity with extended working widths and high capacity while maintaining maneuverability – reduce operating costs in the field · Benefit from a long list of useful innovations such as DIGIDRIVE TM multiple finger couplings – increase the service life of the machine and reduce maintenance costs. · Quality and reliability from the world’s leading manufacturer of rotary tedders solid support and a high resale value. When the goal is to produce high quality hay in the least amount of time the best solution is a KUHN GF Gyrotedder. GF 5001 THA Gyrotedders GF 22 NP/NT Rugged construction and simple operation! 3 The GF 22 Gyrotedder with a working width of 8’6 ” (2.6 m) is an ideal tedder for working on farms with small fields or with low horsepower tractors. The GF 22 utilizes the same 6tine arm rotor construction that is used on KUHN’S largest tedders for flawless tedding and long life. The GF 22 is available as a 3-point mounted (NP), or as a trailed model (NT) to meet any farm’s requirements. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Working width (DIN) (m/ft) Number of rotors Number of tine arms per rotor Rotor drive Hitch type Balloon tires Machine net weight (kg/lbs) GF 22 NP 2.60/8’6 ” 2 6 Direct 3 pt, Cat. 1 15×6.00-6 220/484 GF 22 NT 2.60/8’6 ” 2 6 Drawbar 15×6.00-6 225/495 4 Easy adjustment On the trailed GF 22 NT, rotor pitch angle is adjusted using the crank handle. On the 3-point GF 22 NP, adjustment is done with the tractor’s top link. This enables tedding quality to be optimally adjusted to varying conditions. Compact and locked for transport and storage The width of the GF 22 is reduced to 8’6” (2.6 m) by simply folding up the left safety guard and pivoting two tine arms. To insure safety, folding the guard automatically locks rotor movement. Gyrotedder GF 440 T The Gyrotedder with the ideal mix of economy and capacity ! 5 The GF 440 T, with a working width of 12’2 ” (3.7 m) is ideally sized for operations behind a 4 disc or 5 disc mower. The GF 440 T is also well suited to ted one windrow from a large mower conditioner (12′ to 16′) on farms that occasionally require the use of a tedder, but where the cost of a large tedder is unjustified. Outer rotor drive Heavy duty, yoke and pin couplers drive the outer rotors. An automatic locking device locks the outer rotors in place for work and transport. Easy adjustment Rotor pitch angle is adjusted using the crank handle. This enables precise adjustment of the tedder to match all conditions. Adjustable wheels A feature on KUHN’S largest tedders, the GF 440 T is fitted with adjustable wheels. These adjustments allow normal tedding, left or right oblique tedding (for field edges), road transport, and storage maneuvering. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Working width (DIN) (m/ft) Number of rotors Number of tine arms per rotor Rotor drive Hitch type Balloon tires Machine net weight (kg/lbs) GF 440 T 3.70/12’2 ” 4 4 Heavy duty, yoke and pin couplers Drawbar 15×6.00-6 295/649 6 Easier attachment A lever unlocks the tongue allowing the tongue to pivot freely up and down. This simplifies attachment and is also used during transport. Transport For transport, both outer rotors can easily be folded to the rear, minimizing the overall width for transport and storage. Duplex gearbox (option) Used to form two small windrows behind the GF 440 T. This option is commonly used in areas where excessive moisture from dew can form on the hay overnight.
